Vigorex 50 is a prescription medication that helps treat male erectile dysfunction (impotence) by increasing blood flow to the penis. It should be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor, about 1 hour before sexual activity. It may cause side effects such as flushing, headache, dizziness, and stomach upset. Do not take it with nitrates or if you have severe heart or liver problems. Avoid driving and alcohol consumption while taking this medicine. It is not intended for use by women and men should not use other medicines for impotence without consulting their doctor first.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Vigorex 50.
Information regarding the use of Vigorex 50 during pregnancy is not available. Please consult your doctor.
Information regarding the use of Vigorex 50 during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.
Vigorex 50 may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Vigorex 50 is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Vigorex 50 is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. A lowering of dose may be considered if it is not well-tolerated.
Vigorex 50 should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. A dose adjustment of Vigorex 50 may be needed. Please consult your doctor. There is limited information available on the use of Vigorex 50 in patients with severe liver disease.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vigorex 50 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Vigorex 50 is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, thereby increasing blood flow into the penis during sexual stimulation. This helps you achieve and maintain a hard, erect penis suitable for sexual activity.
If you miss a dose of Vigorex 50, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
The drug Vigorex is used to treat erectile dysfunction.
Sildenafil is a specific inhibitor of cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) that is used to treat erectile dysfunction. Danafil (Sildenafil) enhances the effect of nitric oxide (NO) by inhibiting phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which is responsible for cGMP degradation in the corpus cavernous, resulting in smooth muscle relaxation and blood flow to the corpus cavernous.
When Sildenafil is taken with organic nitrates for angina, it can cause hypotension. Cimetidine, a drug used to treat gastric ulcers, as well as some antibiotics like Erythromycin and Rifampicin, and protease inhibitors like Ritonavir and Saquinavir, used to treat HIV infection, may raise Sildenafil levels in the blood.
Any component of sildenafil is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to it. Because sildenafil enhances the hypotensive effects of nitrates, it is not recommended for patients who are taking organic nitrates on a regular or intermittent basis.
Sildenafil is not recommended for women. Category B pregnancy. Sildenafil has not been studied in pregnant women in a sufficient and well-controlled manner. Sildenafil has been shown to be teratogenic and embryotoxic in animal studies.
Protect from light and moisture by storing in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Keep out of children's reach.
